Training Overview
Legacy Airlift Solutions offers specialized C-130 training programs designed to strengthen aircrew knowledge, improve operational decision-making, and support safer mission execution. Current training options include standalone 7-day courses, 3-day add-ons, and combined training packages.
Each training day includes 7 hours of instruction, and courses may be tailored to the customer’s aircraft configuration, operational needs, mission requirements, or regional environment.

Advanced Systems Refresher Training
Duration: 7 training days / 49 training hours
The Advanced Systems Refresher Training is designed to strengthen C-130 systems knowledge and reinforce safe aircraft operation. This course provides a focused review of aircraft systems, limitations, and operational considerations so aircrew can improve technical understanding and apply systems knowledge during mission planning, aircraft operation, and abnormal situations.
Advanced TOLD & Performance Course
Duration: 7 training days / 49 training hours
The Advanced TOLD & Performance Course focuses on Takeoff and Landing Data, aircraft performance principles, environmental and runway factors, and performance-based mission planning. This course develops the ability to compute, interpret, and apply aircraft performance data in operational environments.
Emergencies Add-On
Duration: 3 training days / 21 training hours
Offered With: Advanced Systems Refresher Training
The Emergencies Add-On expands the Systems Refresher Training by focusing on emergency procedures, abnormal aircraft conditions, and crew response under pressure. This add-on allows aircrew to apply systems knowledge to high-risk or time-sensitive situations where disciplined decision-making and proper crew coordination are critical.
CRM Add-On
Duration: 3 training days / 21 training hours
The CRM Add-On focuses on Crew Resource Management skills that support safer and more effective crew performance. Training emphasizes communication, coordination, task management, decision-making, and crew cross-checking during normal and high-workload operations.
Advanced TOLD & Systems Refresher with Add-Ons
Duration: 13 training days / 91 training hours
This combined training package includes Advanced TOLD & Performance, Advanced Systems Refresher, and selected add-on training. It is the most complete training option for C-130 academic instruction across aircraft performance, systems knowledge, emergency response, and crew coordination.
